Lemon Ginger Honey Green Tea

There is one concoction that not only tastes great but is also renowned for its beneficial properties as it battles depression, protects the heart, it is great for diabetics and a wonderful ally in your efforts to lose weight.

All you need is hot water (700 ml), two green tea bags, 2 spoons of premium thyme honey (ideally FoodsCross honey with 80% thyme pollen grains), lemon zest, 90ml of lemon juice and a few tablespoons of grated ginger. Here’s how to prepare it:

Add the ginger to the water and bring it to boil. Infuse the tea bags for aproximately 3 minutes. Remove the tea bags and add the honey. Still well and once it is cold (if you wish you may speed up the procedure by adding ice cubes), add the lemon zest and juice. Remove the ginger and lemon peel after a while and serve cold.
