Commarts: Honey and design summit

It is love at first sight. A love that challenges you to go deeper and explore its secrets. The response suggests that it was time for something that different, since the world’s most celebrated media in the design and visual communication medium, the Communications Arts decides to post a review on the design of the premium Greek honey that boasts up to 80% content in they pollen grains.

“The market for honey is rising and already filled with a variety of packaging designs. Athens-based design firm Mousegraphics needed to realize a brand identity able to convey this product’s specific advantage: its purity.

This Greek honey is distinguished for its extremely high concentration of thyme pollen grains (80 percent) offered in numbered and signed vases. Mousegraphics developed the logo design as a careful pairing of cross-shaped lettering and the image of a bee, designed by illustrator Si Scott. The elongated glass vessel is covered by the brand identity in a way that allows the collector’s number to be clearly visible even when the top is removed. Black, white and red reference a pharmaceutical language”.
