Dye your Easter eggs with silk!

A kraft that you will love especially if you have old silk ties and scarfs that you no longer wanted. This idea will allow to use the dye from silk to decorate your easter eggs with wonderful colors and patterns!

You will need:

Fresh eggs
100% silk ties and scarves
White fabric
Twist ties
White vinegar
vegetable oil

Cut the silk ties or scarves and white fabric into 7’x7′ squares
Wrap each egg tightly first in silk and then in white fabric. Secure with a twist tie.
Place the eggs in a pot and cover with water.
Add three tablespoons of white vinegar and boil for 15 minutes.
Remove eggs, let cool and unwrap.
Each silk piece can be used 2 – 3 times.
