Pizza with White Truffle Olive Oil and Rocket Microgreens

Ingredients for 8 pieces

For the tomato sauce

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 100 g tomato juice
  • 1/2 onion
  • A few basil leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sugar

For the recipe we used:

Directions:

  1. Add the tomato juice, salt, pepper and sugar.
  2. Bring to a boil for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat.
  4. Spread the pizza dough on a greased baking tray.
  5. Add the tomato sauce, olives and finally the grated cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven at 190°C for about 15 minutes.
  7. Once the pizza is out of the oven, add in order the sausages, the FoodsCross organic rocket micro-vegetables and finally the parmesan.
  8. Drizzle with the FoodsCross white truffle olive oil, grind pepper, slice and serve.
