How to make candied nuts

This recipe is great to candy many types of nuts from pistachios and pecans, to pepitas or walnuts. Use them on your salads for extra nutritional value and superb taste! It will not take more than 5 minutes and your guests and family will love the results of your efforts. Here is how you can do it right away.

Ingredients
¼ cup raw nuts for small nuts (like pepitas, pistachios, pine nuts, sliced or slivered almonds, pecan pieces, walnut pieces, or peanuts) or ⅓ cup raw nuts for larger nuts (like whole pecans, walnuts, cashews, macadamia nuts, or almonds)
1 tablespoon of FoodsCross’ premium thyme honey
cayenne pepper and salt to spice the nuts

Instructions
Spray a small dish with cooking spray and set aside.
Add nuts to a small skillet over medium heat. Stir occasionally until slightly browned. Add honey, cayenne, and salt. Once honey starts to bubble, stir for about 15-30 seconds.
Transfer to greased dish, spreading them evenly to cool. Then break them apart a bit and enjoy!
